Tampa Bay CPR partnered with THJCA to provide CPR and First Aid classes for families during the 2018 End of Summer Celebration. Children who participated in the summer program were able to learn the value of a life saving skill with their family. Instructor Melissa Mashaw and the Tampa Bay CPR team highlighted that CPR and First Aid has proven to increase survival rates when given properly and immediately. Becoming trained and certified in CPR allows people to step up in emergency situations and can lead individuals to save someone's life before the emergency teams' arrival.
